BANGALORE: A delegation of Malleswaram Residents’ Welfare Assosiation (MRWA) met the Chief Minister D V Sadananda Gowda at Home Office Krishna on Friday and submitted a project along with a map to decongest the road traffic near Mantri Square at Sampige Road.A detailed analysis on the traffic situation was done by the assosiation and the results of the same were submitted to BBMP commissioner Shankarlinge Gowda, ACP Dr M A Saleem and the CM. “We have been studying the situation for the past ten months now. Based on our findings, we have proposed a solution to ease traffic issues. This project will not prove to be a financial burden to the Government. In fact more than 25 lakh people will be benefitted by the same, ”said B R Gopal Rao, president of MRWA.The chief minister was thoroughly impressed by the entire initiative and promised to implement the same. Veteran Gandhian Dr H Srinivasaiah, Mullahalli Suri, R Kumar, M S Chethan Krishna and Mukundaraj were amongst the dignitaries who attended the discussion.
