New Delhi: It’s just been a week since Mayawati was sworn in as the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh and the feisty BSP supremo has already sent the bureaucratic order in the state aflutter.

After having transferred a flurry of IAS officers in the first week of her investiture, Mayawati conducted another major administrative reshuffle on Sunday and transferred 41 IAS and IPS officers.

Among those who received the marching orders included police chief of six districts, sources said. They include D C Lakha - who was posted as Principal Secretary Homeguards, Civil Aviation and Political Pension K K Singh as Principal Secretary, General Administration and Amod Kumar as Special Secretary IT and Electronics. All of them were kept on the wait-list earlier.

Among the IPS officers transferred are five ADG's, 12 IG's , 3 DIG's and six district police chiefs.
