During the first two or three days we may wonder: “Am I experiencing a hallucination or delusion? Am I hypnotising myself through this kind of auto suggestion?” Absolutely not. My dear friend, you are mighty and powerful. Your mind has the innate power to move mountains, but you did not know how to tap it till now. What you are experiencing now is only the tip of the iceberg.
As we progress step by step in our journey together, there is so much more to come. God has given us this power of resolution. No animal has it. Only human beings are blessed with the power. We have this inexhaustible fount of resolution and determination inside us.
However, just making this resolution is not enough to strengthen our power of resolution.
We must go one or two steps further. We must now increase our faith, belief and trust in our capacity to achieve this goal. Many of us believe that we are sinners and therefore, unworthy to enjoy perennial bliss.
This is not so. We are not sinners. We are winners. We are born to win. We were losers because we did not know how to tap the power of our soul. When we understand and uncover our inner strength, we will always win.
We must always have this supreme confidence in the power of our own soul. My dear friend, now that we have this confidence, let me reveal two secrets which will help you to enforce and reinforce this confidence and infuse it into the materialistic, divine and spiritual aspect of your life. To satisfy the materialistic aspect of our lives, we should accept whatever life brings us with gratitude and contentment.
Cultivating this attitude of gratitude is the first secret formula to success. It empowers our power of resolution because we are gratefully recognising and welcoming abundance in every form into our lives.
Then, abundance chooses us and infuses our lives with its bounty. What is the second secret? We should begin each day with the resolution: “Come what may, I am not going to lose my inner peace, joy and bliss today.”
There are many people who tell us to believe that we will always get what we want, but god has always said, “You will only get what you deserve.”
So, to deserve what we want, we have to reserve some time for our soul every day as we have now learnt to meditate and commune with our soul. Along with this, we should perform at least one selfless act without any expectation to make someone else feel happy by sharing our love, time, peace, joy, knowledge, talent, skill or money with them.
