New Delhi: Music composer Adnan Sami's third wife Sabah has filed a complaint against TV personality Pooja Bedi, claiming the actress assaulted her.
However, Pooja denies allegations of assaulting Sabah and maintains she only acted in self defence. She said she was taking care of Adnan's father who is recovering from pancreatic cancer when Sabah barged into the house and created a ruckus.
Sabah and her friend began filming Pooja on their mobile phones and lunged at her phone as well.
Adnan has been in news for trouble in his marital life recently. In February his wife Sabah had filed for divorce and, among other things, she had complained that he plays his "music too loud".
However, the Bombay High Court dismissed the plea of singer Adnan Sami's wife Sabah that he and his parents be evicted from the house they all presently live in. Adnan had said he will fight the matter out with her in whichever court she appeals.
Trouble started in January when a non-cognisable offence was registered against Adnan at the Oshiwara police station here after Sabah accused him of "mental and physical torture". The Pakistani singer was then summoned to the police station and warned against misbehaving with his wife in future.
Adnan had earlier said Sabah never wanted his parents staying in their house.
