New Delhi: The draw for 2007 Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Cup have been finalised.
There are two representatives from India.
National Football League champions Mahindra United are the first while the second entrant will be the winner of the 28th Peerless Federation Cup.
If Mahindra United, who are also the defending champions in the Federation Cup, manage to retain their title, then East Bengal will be the second Indian entry.
The Bengal club had finished runners-up in the 10th NFL in early 2006.
Mahindra United have been drawn in Group E with New Radiant (Maldives), Singapore Armed Forces FC, and Happy Valley (Hong Kong).
New Radiant were the semi-finalists in AFC Cup 2005, while the other two are the champions in their respective countries.
The second Indian club will be placed in Group F, along with Thailand's Osotspa M-150, Singapore Cup winners Tampines Rovers, and Malaysian FA Cup champions Pahang.
The group stage kicks off on March 6 and culminates on May 22 next year. The quarter-finals will take place on September 18 and 25 while the semi-finals are scheduled for October 2 and 23.
The final, a two-match affair, will be held on November 2 and 9.
The six group-toppers advance to the quarter-finals along with the two best second place finishers.
