A street artist, who is on a mission to highlight Bengaluru's pothole problem, has come up with another masterpiece. The artist, Badal Nanjundaswamy, has drawn a butterfly net around a pothole in the city.
Earlier, he had drawn a crocodile to highlight the major issue faced by commuters to draw the attention of authorities on the sad state of roads.
The installation went unnoticed initially, but locals thronged to the spot just to catch a glimpse of the almost-real reptile. Some were even scared initially and raised an alarm, only to be assured by the artist that it was made of fibre.
After knowing the intent of the installation, many put up pictures of the crocodile on social media which went viral.
Bengaluru, at last count, had 4800 potholes of which only over a thousand have been attended to.
