An Amul girl image made up of 1432 Amul ads

The loveable Amul girl in her red polka-dotted frock has been holding a satirical mirror to current events from hoardings in about 90 locations across India for the last 46 years. There have been over 4,000 Amul Butter ads created by daCunha Communications since 1966 and we have created an Amul moppet image (see below) made up 1,432 of those ads, showcasing four-and-a-half decades of record breaking advertising in one 50 megapixel mosaic (9426 x 5303 pixels).Click on the image or use the controls on the bottom right to explore.
