Anoop pays tributes at fathers tomb

KOCHI: Soon after being declared elected from Piravom, Anoop Jacob went straight to Nirmala Bhavan situated near Nirmala Junior School, where counting was held. The nuns at the convent presented him with a  bouquet. From the convent, Anoop went straight to the supporters, who were anxiously waiting for him at the entrance of Nirmala Junior School. More than a thousand supporters were present there, shouting slogans in support of their leader.Later, Anoop went to Attinkunnu St Mary’s Church Jacobite Syrian Church and paid tributes at his father’s tomb. On reaching the church, he met his family members, including mother Daisy Jacob, wife Anila Jacob and sister Ambily, at the entrance of the church. Then they offered prayers at the church together.Before launching his victory rally in an open jeep, he visited his home situated near the church.
