Apurva Varma is TASMAC Chief

CHENNAI: Apurva Varma, Industries Commissioner and Director of Industries and Commerce, will be the new Managing Director of the Tamil Nadu State Marketing Corporation Limited (TASMAC). He replaces D Vivekanandan, who will take over as the Secretary of State Human Rights Commission.Pankaj Kumar Bansal, former Director of Town and Country Planning has been transferred to function as the Project Director, Tamil Nadu Health Systems Project. TP Rajesh, Deputy Secretary, Tamil Development, Religious Endowments and Information Department will assume charge as the Deputy Secretary (protocol), Public Department.Vibhu Nayar, Commissioner of Milk Production and Dairy Development and Managing Director of Tamil Nadu Cooperative Milk Producers Federation Limited will take over as the Industries Commissioner and Director of Industries and Commerce.MR Mohan, Commissioner of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Services, will assume charge as the Commissioner of Milk Production and Dairy Development and Managing Director of the Tamil Nadu Cooperative Milk Producers Federation Limited.
