Thanks to the technological advancements of the era we live in, nearly anything is possible if you are determined to become successful. A number of big corporations have switched to robots for the work done by human hands earlier, including the practices in agriculture. Local18 reports how farmers have taken to aerial drones to spray medicines on their cultivations, instead of relying on labourers. It is being reported from the Tarigopula village, which is located in the Nandyal district of Andhra Pradesh, the farmers are now using drones to spray medicines on the crops. As per the reports of Local18, the practice has made the whole process a lot easier. Many people have been given employment through it, for drone navigation. Going by more information, several crops are being sprayed through drones which include Paddy fields, soyabean, maize and many more. There was a time when the farmers had to rely on human hands for the same work.
To spray one acre of land, it took around four hours, the information states. Now, through the use of drones, one acre of land can be sprayed in 15 minutes. According to Local18, the farmers have to give Rs 500 to get the crops sprayed. They are satisfied with the practice, as it is saving a lot of time and money. Now, they are expecting a high-yield from the crops with good growth.
The agricultural practices are extensively turning to technology, reports Local18. It is being used for sowing seeds, removing weeds, sowing of paddy and more. As per the information, around 80 percent of the work in agriculture is being done through technology. The crops like maize, rice and millet, which relied on human hands for sowing are being planted with it and even harvested through it.
