Back off! Brajesh Mishra tells Nepal King
Strong words were directed at Nepal's King Gyanendra by Brajesh Mishra who asked him to mend his ways and pave the path of democracy.

New Delhi: Your Majesty you're digging your own grave. Back off before it's too late.

Strong words these directed at Nepal's King Gyanendra and they aren't coming from his habitual critics - the Maoist rebels.

These are the words of former national security adviser and influential BJP member Brajesh Mishra.

Mishra seems to be lending voice to a signed article in the RSS mouthpiece 'The Organiser'.

The article stated that Nepal's Supreme Court can revive the dissolved Parliament, as demanded by Nepal's mainstream political parties, if it wants to.

"The king has been moving towards absolute monarchy, which in my view won't work. We have to persuade the King and tell him that he is taking the wrong path. You're digging the grave of the monarchy. You need to step back for the sake of your heirs and for the sake of your country," said Mishra.

The statement and the article come in the wake of the protests that seven mainstream political parties in Nepal are organising to give backc to the people of the country, their civil liberties.
