BANGALORE: Bangalore Development Authority (BDA) on Saturday took possession of a prime property encroached upon at Hennur. According to a press release, unauthorised constructions such as five RCC buildings and 10 shops, which had come up on Survey No 36/2 of Hennur village Bangalore North Taluk, Kasaba hobli, were demolished and a total extent of one acre and 39 guntas of land was recovered.The  property worth Rs 100 crore, was fenced. The operation was carried out by BDA Task force, under the guidance of the Superintendent of Police, and executive engineer North Division, along with the active cooperation of the local police, the release added.
