Los Angeles: Singer-actor Jared Leto, who is the front-runner in the best supporting Oscar category, is taking his mother, Constance, as his date to this year's Academy awards.
The 42-year-old '30 Seconds to Mars' frontman has already won a SAG and a Golden Globe award for his touching portrayal of an AIDS suffering transgender in 'Dallas Buyers Club'.
Leto shared a sweet screenshot of himself FaceTiming with his mother to show her adorable expression after finding out that she will be going to the Oscars this weekend with him and his brother Shannon, reported E! News
"My mothers face when @shannonleto and I told her she was coming to the #Oscars with us! :)," Jared captioned the picture.
This won't be the first awards show for Constance. She joined Leto on the red carpet at the SAG Awards in January.
In the best supporting actor category Leto is facing competition from Barkhad Abdi (Captain Phillips), Bradley Cooper (American Hustle), Michael Fassbender (12 Years A Slave) and Jonah Hill (The Wolf of Wall Street).
