Biography of Mar Gregorious released

KOCHI: The biography of Vayaliparambil Geevarghese Mar Gregorious Metropolitan,  written by Fr Varghese Kallappara, was released by Justice V R Krishna Iyer in Kochi on Sunday, on the 45th death anniversary of the Metropolitan. Elias Mar Athanasius Metropolitan received the first copy of the book from Krishna Iyer.The book throws light into the services rendered by Vayalipparambil Geevarghese Mar Gregorious to the Jacobite Syrian Christian Church during two decades - from 1946 to 1966. S Sarma MLA presided over the function. District panchayat vice-president Bindu George, and Thomas Kandandarthil Cor-Episcopa spoke. The 322-page book was published by Boby Jacob, managing director of Anna Group of Companies.
