New Delhi: Police have questioned British Prime Minister Tony Blair as a witness for a second time in the cash-for-honours scandal over political funding.
He was questioned at his 10 Downing Street residence. In December, Blair had become the first serving British Prime Minister to be questioned by police in a criminal investigation.
In early 2006, evidence indicated that secret loans to the tune of £14 million were made to Labour before the 2005 election. Subsequently, some of those who made the contributions were nominated for peerages by Blair.
