HYDERABAD: With several Congress legislators rallying in support of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) president Botcha Satyanarayana has appealed to them not to become a part of Jagan's conspiracy to destabilise the government. "Stay with the Congress and lend your support to the party," he advised them.Quitting for Jagan who was facing corruption charges could prove counterproductive at a time there was widespread awakening in the country on the need to root out the evil of corruption, he said.Rebutting the YSR Congress allegations that the Congress was damaging the reputation of the late YS Rajasekhara Reddy, the PCC chief told newsmen here on Sunday, "The Congress always remembers his contribution to the party and his service to people."He expressed confidence that nothing would happen to the government headed by N Kiran Kumar Reddy. The CBI cases against Jagan Mohan Reddy were on the basis of High Court directions and the state government had nothing to do with it. If anyone had any objections over the cases, they could approach the court, he said. The APCC president took objection to YSRC honorary president Vijayamma writing to the Prime Minister on the CBI raids. "The YSRC party leaders are trying to get their leader out of the CBI probe and at the same time trying to generate sympathy for him. In fact, it was they who dared the Congress to order a CBI inquiry and now they are chickening out," Botcha said.
