BANGALORE: A 38-year-old City Armed Reserve (CAR) police constable died of a cardiac arrest at CAR Grounds on Mysore Road.The deceased has been identified as Umesh.He was working as a driver with the City Armed Reserve and was residing at CAR police quarters on Mysore Road.The police said that he had undergone a heart surgery a year ago.On Wednesday evening, after parking the jeep near the grounds, he collapsed following a cardiac arrest.But till Thursday morning he was unattended.When other policemen came for duty in the morning, they saw him lying dead and informed the police and his family members.A postmortem was conducted at Victoria Hospital mortuary.Cottonpet police have registered a case of unnatural death in this connection.In another similar incident reported in Kodigehalli police station limits on Thursday evening, Murali (35), a resident of Thindlu, was found dead in the bathroom of his house.It is suspected that he died of a cardiac arrest two days ago.He was working with a private chit company.The police said that the deceased had abandoned his wife and children and had rented the house in Thindlu just a few days back.He had not come out of the house since two days and on Thursday evening, the house owner sensed a foul smell and opened the door with a spare key.He went inside the house and found him dead.Murali’s brother has stated to the police that Murali was suffering from heart related diseases and it is suspected that he might have died of cardiac arrest.Kodigehalli police have registered a case of unnatural death
