CBI refuses to give Rajesh Talwar clean chit
The hearing comes amidst doubts that CBI will give Talwar a clean chit as yet.

New Delhi: The court has reserved its order on the bail application of Noida double murder case accused, Dr Rajesh Talwar after CBI told the court that they could not give him a clean chit as yet.

Talwar's bail application had come up for hearing in Ghaziabad on Thursday. Rajesh Talwar, the father of murdered teenager Arushi, has been in jail for over a month now.

On Wednesday, Rajesh Talwar's wife Nupur Talwar, and his brother, Dinesh Talwar were summoned to the CBI headquarters for a second lie-detector test.

Sources indicate that there are still discrepancies in the statements of Arushi's parents.

Meanwhile, the big question that is being asked is why has the CBI not taken the servant of the Durranis, Rajkumar, into custody as yet? Rajkumar was named by Dr Talwar's compunder, Krishna, during interrogation. Krishna is the prime accused in the case.

The CBI have questioned him several times till now. The Durranis - who are denists and close associates of the Talwars - have also been questioned.

What's your reaction?
