Chinmaya vidyalaya wins NWWA quiz

KOCHI: Chinmaya Vidyalaya won the 2011 edition of the Navy Wives Welfare Association (NWWA) quiz competition held at Sagarika auditorium at the naval base in Kochi. Vishnu H Nair and Anant M Nambiar represented the school. Bhavan’s Vidya Mandir Elamakkara and Choice School were tied for the second spot. The quiz competition was held among six schools, which earned their eligibility to participate in the final round from among 12 city schools.The prizes were awarded by Vice-Admiral K N Sushil, Flag Officer Commanding in Chief, Southern Naval Command. Cash awards instituted by NWWA for good academic performances were also distributed on the occasion by Latha Sushil, President NWWA Southern Region.
