New Delhi: Two Italian climbers were finally rescued from one of the world's highest mountains in a high-altitude helicopter rescue.

The climbers had been stranded for days at a height of more than 21,000 feet on Nanga Parbat in Pakistan. They were unable to come down due to bad weather.

The death of a third climber finally resulted in the decision to rescue them. This is seen as one of the highest rescue missions ever.
