GOKULAPADU (Vizag): Chief minister Kiran Kumar Reddy said the freezing of the accounts of Sakshi TV and newspaper is not an assault on the freedom of the press, and vouched that if the journalists of the two media houses face any difficulty, the state government would look after them.Distancing himself from the CBI’s freeze of the accounts of Jagan’s companies -- Jagati Publications and Indira TV, Kiran Kumar said the government and the Congress had no role in the action.“There is no threat to freedom of press in the state,” he said. Touring here as part of his byelection campaign, he recalled that “YS Rajasekhara Reddy said during a CLP meet that he had made a mistake by bringing Jagan into politics and advised MLAs not to commit similar mistakes,” Kiran said.
