CM wants RYK job selections by December 20

HYDERABAD: Chief minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy directed district collectors to complete the process of selection of candidates, training, job appointment letters and placement details for eligible candidates under Rajiv Yuva Kiranalu before December 20. Addressing collectors over video conference along with minister for sports and youth affairs Vatti Vasanth Kumar and chief secretary Pankaj Dwivedi at the Secretariat on Saturday, he said as 50 percent of the state's population are below 25 years of age, it is necessary to mould the young generation in a proper manner and see they are provided with jobs to stop them from diverting attention to other activities. He observed that once the candidate is provided with work, authorities concerned should see he/she works for at least one year.He added the state government is committed to fulfil the process for identification of jobs before starting specific training leading to placements in the industry."The main aim of Rajiv Yuva Kiranalu is to generate employment opportunities for youth at their own place based on the resources available at local level in industries, agriculture and other service sectors," the chief minister said
