New Delhi: The Supreme Court has taken exception to the statements made by Cabinet ministers against the recent ruling on Section 377. The apex court on Friday said that some of the statements are not in good taste.

In a huge setback for the LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender) community, the Supreme Court had on December 11, 2013 set aside the Delhi High Court ruling that decriminalised homosexuality and had struck down Section 377. While setting aside the 2009 Delhi High Court order, the apex court observed that Section 377 is a valid constitutional provision.
