Cops, naxals exchange fire

WARANGAL: Police and Praja Pratighatana group (PPG) Naxalites reportedly exchanged fire in Tadwai-Kothaguda forests in Warangal district  on Thursday morning.It is learnt that Praja Pratighatana group state committee secretary Mohananna and some other dalam members, involved in the firing, escaped into the forest.However, none of the police officers confirmed the incident. Police, it is known, have recovered five kitbags from the place after exchange of fire.  Mohananna had escaped several times earlier during exchange of fire.Though police could check other Naxal groups in Warangal district,  Mohananna and his group have been posing a challenge since long.
