Court grants CID two days custody of Sunil Reddy

HYDERABAD: A local court on Friday granted the state Crime Investigation Department (CID) a two-day police custody of T Sunil Reddy, former journalist and consultant with Sricity SEZ who was arrested recently on charges of forgery).The investigative agency had earlier sought Sunil Reddy’s custody for five days stating that they needed to make him undergo a polygraph test and also get experts to compare his handwriting.However, the court granted only two days of custody from Saturday onwards.An advocate will be present with Reddy from 10 a.m.to 5 p.m., during which he will be questioned.Sunil Reddy’s counsel had moved a bail petition which will come up for hearing on Monday after his police custody comes to an end.
