Phase I of Serene Pelican has been successfully sold out.

Serene Pelican II spans across 18 acres where the villas of the second phase range from 875 sq ft to 1,376 sq ft, with a price range of Rs 41 lakh to Rs 80 lakh.
The handing over of properties in Serene Roses and Serene Pelican is scheduled for late 2014.
Speaking on the occasion, Colonel A Sridharan, MD, Covai Senior Care Constructions, said, “We are thrilled to see how well the concept of retirement communities is catching up.
I am happy to note that our fully-functional retirement homes have been well received by happy customers.
At Serene, we are constantly working towards improving and introducing new services that would benefit all residents.
This is why we will soon be offering assisted living services as well as making provision for people with disabilities in our future projects.
” He further added, “With the launch of Serene Roses and Serene Pelican, we hope to continue making retirement the best phase of life for residents.
” “Assisted living is a service meant for senior citizens who require supportive services in performing mundane tasks such as dressing, bathing, eating or using the bathroom, but otherwise don’t require full-time nursing care.
The facilities are non-medical, residential settings that provide housing, food service, personal services and watchful oversight to frail elders and persons with communication disabilities,’’ he added.
Understanding the requirement of People with Disabilities (PWD), Serene Retirement Communities has opened its doors to not only them, but also their parents.
This facility is meant to ease concerns of ageing parents who need help with the disabled member of the family, as well as personal assistance.
They can enjoy the benefit of community living since there is no segregation that will alienate the PWDs and their family, thereby giving them an opportunity to bond.
Like other Serene projects, Serene Roses and Serene Pelican II will be completely self-contained.
A modern, central kitchen with dining hall will serve freshly cooked vegetarian food on the lines of home-cooked food.
A medical centre with a resident or visiting doctor, resident nurse and a physiotherapist with a fully equipped ambulance will be available totake care of medical needs and emergencies of the senior citizens.
The maintenance and support services will provide a worry-free life to the residents.
A 24x7 security and maintenance of the property will be taken care of by a full-fledged team of professionals.
In addition, there will be a resident manager to address any issues.
Serene Retirement Communities provide many avenues for leisure.
Sports enthusiasts can choose between indoor games like cards, billiards and table tennis.
An indoor badminton court and a swimming pool will be available to those who are looking for a bit of exercise.
A well-equipped gym will help residents stay fit, while an indoor mini theatre and open air theatre will provide them with entertainment options.
