New Delhi: Actor Salman Khan, who on Friday lost an appeal against a conviction for shooting chinkaras, is no stranger to trouble.
Khan, 41, was charged with hunting chinkaras on the night of September 28, 1998, in the Ghoda Farm area in Jodhpur district. He was shooting for the film Hum Saath Saath Hain.
He has also been given a one-year sentence for killing two deer in Bhaad village on September 26 and-27, 1998. Salman's appeal is listed for hearing on September 10 before the District and Sessions Judge.
There's also another case of killing two black bucks in Luni block of the district on October 1-2, 1998, which is still pending
In January 2002, the Mumbai Police questioned Khan for alleged underworld links. In July 2005, a daily published transcripts of a tape in which he allegedly flaunts his links with underworld dons. Analysis by voice experts gave him a clean chit.

In September 2002, a allegedly drunk Khan rammed his vehicle into a bakery in Bandra on September 28, killing one and injuring four sleeping on the pavement outside.
