Due to the depression, Machilipatnam and Visakhapatnam likely to have another spells heavy showers.
"Gales with speed reaching 90 to 100 km/ph gusting at 110 km/ph are very likely to prevail and strong surface winds from a westerly direction with speed reaching 60 to 70 km/ph are also likely along and off south coastal AP," CWC statement reads.
Meanwhile, temperatures have been recorded very high in Rajasthan, MP, Haryana and in Gujarat. "As of now because of system cyclone formed in the Bay of Bengal, the easterly winds have come and the westerly's which are dry are being replaced by the easterly winds with more moisture. They won't bring the heat from Pakistan and there will be some respite by 2-3 degree centigrade," Met official said.
