Actor Daniel Radcliffe returns to Broadway, after his successful play Equus in 2011, with a revival of a 1961 Pulitzer Prize-winning musical.
The 20-year-old has been roped in to play J. Pierrepont Finch in a revival of How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, reports contactmusic.com.
Tony winner Rob Ashford, who is currently overseeing Promises, Promises on Broadway, is scheduled to direct and choreograph How to Succeed. His love interest in the Broadway show is yet to be finalised.
Based on Sheperd Mead's 1952 book, How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying first came on Broadway in 1961 and a revival ran in 1995 starring Matthew Broderick and Megan Mullally.
The play tells the tale of J. Pierrepont Finch, a young window washer who soars through the ranks at New York's World Wide Wickets Company - until his own attempts at coming up with a "brilliant idea" threaten to topple his house of cards.
Radcliffe wowed theatre fans in 2008 as main lead in Equus, which ran to full houses in London and New York.
