DAV to remain closed Thursday

BHUBANESWAR: All DAV institutions of the State will remain closed on Thursday as a mark of respect to Gian Prakash Chopra, president of DAV College Managing Committee, who passed away in Delhi at the age of 91.Chopra has been associated with the DAV movement for the last seven decades in various capacities. He was the chief architect of the DAV College as the head of its managing committee. He was also associated with Hans Raj College, Delhi University and helped it notch up top ranks.His death has been mourned by the DAV institutions of the State.
