Panaji: The crisis caused by the shortage of new currency notes will tide over in "10 to 15 days" Union Minister of State for AYUSH (Independent Charge) Shripad Naik said on Wednesday, adding that money was being transported by plane and helicopters to the cash deficit states.
"Some difficulties will be there and should be borne. It is such a big step. The Opposition should also help. Things will improve in 10 to 15 days. (Currency) notes are being supplied by helicopters and planes in all states," Naik said.
Naik also said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi's move to demonetise currency would help check corruption, black money, terrorism and inflation.
