THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A group of cooperative auditors on Wednesday staged a dharna in front of the Cooperative Registrar office in protest of the decision to increase the number of audit reports in MILMA to be filed in a month from 3 to 5. The audit in MILMA has been entrusted with the Cooperative Audit Department. As of now, the auditors have to file report of auditing conducted in three primary dairy cooperative societies. While the auditors find it difficult to complete the auditing in the three societies in a month and file report, the department recently issued an order increasing the number from 3 to 5. NGO Union state treasurer Sreekandeshan addressed the striking employees.
