Kailash Kumar suffered minor injuries in the assault, while Gabriel sustained bleeding injuries. Both were rushed to the Kilpauk Medical College Hospital, where Gabriel was treated. The duo were subsequently discharged from the hospital.On information, Thirumangalam Police Inspector Frank D Ruban registered a case under sections 332, 294(b) and 506(1) of IPC and arrested the councillor and his driver.
