Follow us:WhatsappFacebookTwitterTelegram.cls-1{fill:#4d4d4d;}.cls-2{fill:#fff;}Google NewsThe Union government has taken a major step towards fulfilling a longpending demand for special status for the Gulbarga Revenue Region by approving the draft Bill to amend Article 371 of the Constitution on Tuesday.Union Labour Minister Mallikarjun Kharge, who is also the Gulbarga MP, told Express over phone from New Delhi that the Union Cabinet which met under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Manamohan Singh, unanimously approved the draft Bill.The Gulbarga Revenue Region comprises Bidar, Gulbarga, Yadgir, Raichur, Koppal and Bellary districts.
