MEA also questioned Khobragade's trust-worthiness and integrity.
New Delhi: In fresh trouble for Indian Foreign Service (IFS) officer Devyani Khobragade, Ministry of External Affairs on Monday attacked her in Delhi High Court in the dual passport case of her daughters.
"Devyani hid from MEA that her daughters had US passports," the ministry told high court.
"Devyani willfully violated government rules and provisions of various acts that bar holding of US passport and Indian diplomatic passport for her daughters," the MEA said.
MEA also questioned Khobragade's trust-worthiness and integrity.
Khobragade, who was India's deputy consul-general in New York, was arrested on December 12, 2014 outside her children's school. Her arrest on visa fraud charges had triggered a row between the two countries.
