DYFI plans meetings to gather public support

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: In the wake of the police firing in Kozhikode, the DYFI is organising public meetings in four locations in the state to drum up public support against police brutality.     DYFI state president M Swaraj and state secretary T V Rajesh MLA, told a press conference here on Thursday that the DYFI also planned an Assembly march on October 17. The ‘Janakeeya Prathikarana Sadas’ would be held in Perumbavoor, Palakkad, Kozhikode and Kannur, they said. The dates will be announced shortly.
