Mumbai: Karan Johar's new film 'Ungli', starring Emraan Hashmi, Kangana Ranaut, Sanjay Dutt and Randeep Hooda, will release on November 28.
Directed Rensil D'Silva, the film is a sleek, edgy, vigilante drama and also stars Neha Dhupia, Angad Bedi and Neil Bhoopalam in key roles.
D'Silva, who has also penned the script and screenplay, said, "Ungli is a story about friendship and it's a very character driven film. It's about what happens when a gang of friends decide to take justice into their own hands."
Johar said 'Ungli' was a new territory for his production house, Dharma.
"It is Dharma's first film with Emraan and has a very different plot from the kind of subjects we have explored in the past. Rensil D'Silva has put his heart and soul into this one," Johar said.
