Errors in APTransco test results

HYDERABAD: An enquiry by the vigilance department has been ordered into how mistakes crept into the uploading of results of the written test conducted for recruitment of electrical and telecom assistant engineers. Talking with reporters at his office here on Thursday, AP Power Transmission Corporation chairman and managing director Ajay Jain said the enquiry report was expected in a few days and disciplinary action would be initiated against the guilty.
APTransco issued a notification for recruitment of 225 assistant electrical and 25 telecom engineers. The selection process such as conducting a written test was entrusted to Osmania University. Nearly 40,000 candidates wrote the written test on January 29. The results were announced on February 8. The Osmania University and the Centre for Good Governance uploaded the results on the web site.
