New Delhi: The Delhi Police have registered a case against Zee News that aired the interview with the Delhi braveheart's friend, for revealing his identity. The man is a key witness in the case. The exclusive interview was aired on Friday.
The FIR has been registered under Section 228A in the Vasant Vihar Police station. The male friend of the braveheart is the sole witness in the case.
In the interview, the young man opened up about the incident. He criticised the police and passersby for their indifference and delay. He said that no passerby came forward to help them after they were thrown out of the bus for about 25 minutes.
He also alleged that three police vans arrived after 45 minutes and wasted crucial time in deciding the territorial jurisdiction of the police station under which the case falls.
