Chennai: Tamil actor Ashok Selvan, who has worked with three debutant directors in back-to-back films such as 'Soodhu Kavvum', 'Pizza 2: Villa' and 'Thegidi', says he finds a winning attitude in them.
"I haven't worked with experienced directors yet, and therefore, I can't compare them with newcomers. But one thing that I have noticed in first time directors is their urge to win. They work with a winning attitude and I admire it," Ashok told IANS.
"They are always up for interaction and suggestions. I have just started my career but I don't have to think twice to start a conversation with them. I guess it's not the same with experienced directors," he added.
While Ashok worked with debutant Nalan Kumarasamy in 'Soodhu Kavvum', he teamed up with Deepan Chakravarthy and Ramesh for upcoming releases 'Pizza 2: Villa' and 'Thegidi', respectively.
"Since we all belong to the same age category, more or less, our thoughts culminate and help us in working together sans ego," said the young actor.
