Ryan International School in the national capital continues to face fire over the death of a six-year-old student, Devansh Kakora.
CNN-IBN has accessed footage that confirms the SDM report on the school, which had exposed serious lapses on part of the school.
The report had said that it found open wires and spare tyres bundled up in a dimly lit pump house. The SDM report had also mentioned that there was no log book or any account of those who had access to the pump house.
This comes even as the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) will probe the death of Devansh Kakora, a class 1 student who reportedly drowned in a water tank on the school premises on January 30.
A preliminary inquiry by the SDM earlier also revealed that on January 30, the teachers and other staff of the school risked the life of a class XI student, Prajwal Sehrawat, as he was reportedly allowed to jump into the reservoir to pull out the body of Devansh.
Earlier, school principal Sandhya Sabu and four other staff were arrested by the police in the case. But all of them had got bail earlier this week.
