The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) is going to provide an opportunity to all the citizens to showcase their home grown plants of various varieties in Hyderabad.
GHMC commissioner M T Krishna Babu said that this step was taken to encourage the plant lovers and rock lovers.
The team of experts in biodiversity and environment would visit their houses to inspect the plants which are being maintained by them.
GHMC will also hold a programme for rock lovers who are preserving rocks in natural forms in their houses.
They can send the details of natural rocks at their houses.
After inspection, the team of experts will declare top three awards and these awards will be presented during the CoP summit, HICC, Madhapur.
Interested persons can send details with photographs of plants and rocks to director, Urban Forestry, GHMC, Indira Park
