ALAPPUZHA: Maria Rosilin,16 , a plus one student at St Antony’s Studies Centre,Aroor, was found hanging at the Our Lady convent, Aroor, on Monday. She is the daughter of Patric, Maria Villa, Kanaknagar, Bangalore. She was undergoing training at the convent to be a nun.The police said that the body of Rosilin was found hanging, at 4.30 am on Monday, by roommate on the roof of the convent.She informed the mother superior and later, they brought down the body to the floor, said K C Sasidharan Nair, SI, Aroor.The police said that Maria was distressed after hearing the news that her father met with an accident on Friday.After the preliminary inspection, the body was sent to the Alappuzha Medical College for postmortem examination.Suspecting foul play, the locals tried to enter the convent, but were denied entry. After the arrival of the police, they were allowed to speak to the convent authorities.
