New Delhi: The parents of slain British teenager Hannah Foster have appealed for speedy justice for the rape and murder of their 17-year-old daughter.
The duo, who are in New Delhi to attend court proceedings in the case on Tuesday, expressed disappointment over the delay in extradition of prime accused Maninder Pal Singh Kohli to Britain.
Trevor Foster and his wife Hillary, whose 17-year-old daughter Hannah was abducted, raped and killed, allegedly by Kohli in 2003, said justice had been delayed and what was happening was not fair.
"The extradition hearing has now been running for about two-and-half years. We want an early disposal of the case," Hannah's father Trevor said.
"We faced a lot in the last four years after our daughter was raped and killed. We want speedy justice," he said.
Trevor and Hillary also plan to attend the proceedings in a local court on Tuesday. They have visited India twice before.
The body of Hannah, who was abducted near her home in Southampton, was found two days after her abduction on March 14, 2003. Post-mortem revealed that the girl was raped before being strangled.
Kohli, who was an NRI, fled to India soon after he was identified as the prime suspect and was arrested in 2004.
