Understanding of god

God is this omnipresent factor, who is always there when you are in distress and in times of celebration. He is a person you can relate to, who you can fully unload your heart to without reservations. You need to be in the path of dharma and the guidance of god will be there all the while. You can name it god, nature, consciousness.

Spiritual beliefs

There is one universal guide, friend and teacher, who takes you to the right path at all times. The moment you compromise on values or start feeling you are doing something wrong, this guide is there to divert us to the right path.

Spiritual practices

Daily thanks giving is something that I follow. This could be in the form of a prayer or reaching out to society. If you can help a person in any way, then that is the prayer of the day. One can connect to the omnipresence by keeping one’s eyes closed and enjoying the beauty, the presence of that moment.

Pilgrimage sites

I’ve visited Badrinath, Kedarnath, Vaishno Devi, the Golden Temple and Santhome church. Also, some very special temples in the south of India like Darasuram, Brihadeeshwara Temple, the beautiful ISKCON temples, lovely churches at Kochi and dargahs all over North India.

Miracles

Miracles are all around you. It is up to you to connect with them and enjoy those beautiful experiences. The fact that you see the light of that day is a miracle. The sunrise every morning is a miracle. Meeting friends unexpectedly is a miracle. Birds feeding their little ones is a miracle. Seeing the blooming of the flower is a miracle. The reflection of sun’s rays on Mount Kanchenjunga in December is a miracle. Experiencing and enjoying the birth and growth of a child is the world’s largest miracle for every mom, be it a human being or a bird or an insect.
