London: Encouraged by his form at Wimbledon, the world number one Novak Djokovic on Sunday said that his results are getting better and better and want to carry the momentum.
The 26-year-old defeated 28th seed Jeremy Chardy of France 6-3, 6-2, 6-2 on Saturday at the All England Club. It seemed a cake walk for the Serbian as he took just one hour and 26 minutes on Centre Court to outclass the Frenchman.
Djokovic will take on 35-year-old German 13th seed Tommy Haas and is looking in fine touch and is looking to carry on his impressive form.
The way to the Wimbledon title is almost clear for the Serbian after the shock early exits of his tough rivals Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal.
"My results are getting better and better, so this is very encouraging for the first week, front of the second week", Djokovic said.
"Now every match I'm going to play, every opponent I'm going to face, is going to be more difficult. I'm going to expect a tough challenges in front of me. I'm ready for it. "I'm striking the ball really well. I'm in a great balance on the court. Hopefully I can maintain that rhythm for the next opponent," he added.
