It was a dream come true for thirteen-year-old Mohsina Raja who was fighting cancer and always wanted to become a police officer. With the help of the Bengaluru city police, the young boy fulfilled his ambition of donning the hat of a police officer as he was given charge of a police station for one day. The officials of Arita Relief Institute and Kidwai Hospital, where the kid was undergoing cancer treatment, came together to give wings to the ambitions of the young boy.
Mohsina Raja, while growing up, dreamt of becoming a police officer. As Bengaluru South DCP, Shiv Prakash was informed about the same, he immediately called the kid to the police station, allowing him to sit on his desk. Not only this, he also gave a brief about law and order to Moshina Raja.
The Bengaluru Police, on its X handle, shared a post that read, “Today, Master Mohsina Raja’s wish comes true as he steps into the world of law enforcement as a police officer for a day! Bengaluru City Police proudly partners with Parihar and Kidwai Memorial Institute of Oncology to make dreams a reality for pediatric cancer warriors. Together, we’re spreading smiles and positivity.”
The post was accompanied by a few pictures in which Mohsina, dressed in the police uniform, can be sitting on the chair of the DCP and flashing a bright smile while posing for the picture. Another picture displayed the kid with DCP the hospital staff and the official of the relief institute.

This is not the first time police have come forward to help kids fighting life-threatening diseases to fulfil their diseases. Earlier in 2018, another kid was given charge of the Mulund Police Station by the Mumbai Police for a day. A few pictures of Arpit were shared on the X handle of the Mumbai Police in which he could be seen writing something as he donned the police uniform whereas another one showed him being fed a piece of cake by the cops.
Meanwhile, the Bengaluru police have been winning hearts for their heartwarming gesture.
