CM Yogi in Ayodhya Today: The Uttar Pradesh police and the Sashastra Seema Bal along with intelligence agencies have also increased vigil on the India-Nepal border.

Ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath will visit the temple town on Thursday to review preparations.

PM Modi will be in the city on Saturday, December 30, for the inauguration of Shri Ram Airport. The grand Ram Temple is slated for inauguration on January 22.

Here’s CM Yogi’s Itinerary for Thursday:

• At 11:30am, he will reach Ayodhya’s Ramkatha Park.

• At 11:50am, CM Yogi will take ‘darshan‘ at Shri Ram Janmabhoomi.

• At 12pm, the chief minister will do ground inspection of Ayodhya project site.

• At 1pm, he will arrive at Circuit House.

• From 1:30pm to 3pm, the CM will hold review meeting in connection with PM Modi’s visit. The discussion will take place at Commissioner Auditorium, Mandalayukta Office.

• At 3:05, CM Yogi is scheduled to arrive at police line helipad and leave for Lucknow.

The Uttar Pradesh police and the Sashastra Seema Bal along with intelligence agencies have also increased vigil on the India-Nepal border in view of the prime minister’s arrival in Ayodhya.

“To prevent the movement of unwanted elements in the area, the security agencies have been asked to ascertain the identities of people before allowing them to cross over through the border,” Deputy Inspector General, Sashastra Seema Bal, Gorakhpur, Akhileshvar Singh said.

“Cameras have been put on SSB posts besides the main roads. Dog squads and one platoon of women wing have also been deployed. Metal detectors have been installed at Sonauli and Thuthibari outposts on the Indo-Nepal border,” Singh said.

In addition to this, security agencies such as Indo-Nepal Border Police, Local Intelligence Unit (LIU) and intelligence agencies have been asked to be on alert on the border, Singh added. Intelligence units have also been asked to keep an eye on religious places along the border.

Three days go, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw inspected coaches and loco of the first Amrit Bharat train with push-pull technology. This special train, he said, will be launched by PM Modi from Ayodhya soon.

Vaishnaw spent about half-an-hour at the platform of the New Delhi Railway Station and visited the engine and some coaches of the train. “Prime Minister Narendra Modi will flag it off from Ayodhya very soon,” he told the mediapersons.

He briefed about the new push-pull technology which, according to him, makes train operation much safer. Besides, he said a lot of new features has been introduced for the comfort and convenience of passengers.
