Insurance Week celebrations begin

KOCHI: The 55th Insurance Week celebrations being organised by the Life Insurance Corporation of India(LIC) Branch 1 began in Kochi on Thursday.Writer Sreekumari Ramachandran inaugurated the celebrations. Addressing the function Sreekumari lauded the efforts of LIC for maintaining the top position among insurance companies, that too after privatisation was introduced in the sector.Senior branch manager Raghunath P T, administrative officer K V Joy, development officer Rajamohan Nair, agents Lalthabai, Thomas and Suchithra spoke.
