ISD video booth launched

KOCHI: Leading cellular service Idea Cellular will soon open ISD Video Calling Booths in Kerala. The first video calling booth was opened at Kottakkal in Malappuram district the other day. “ The ISD video booths are being opened as part of expansion plans for the next quarter. The feature of this service is that the charges is same as an ISD call,” said Idea Cellular deputy managing director Ambrish Jain in Kochi at a press conference. Jain said 3G would be the key growth driver and the company was looking at expanding its services in industrial, educational and agricultural heartlands. Trade and tourism hubs in Kerala are prime markets for Idea’s 3G expansion strategy.” he said.Idea has also re-launched my gang,  a specially designed prepaid card for youth. This plan is revised to suit the communication needs of young people who like texting more than talking and to be always connected with friends on social networking sites.” said Idea cellular, Kerala circle head, Vinu Varghese.
